Church outreach thrives on relationships, not just programs.

What happens when we move from programs to relationships

View in browser Blue Flame Logo - Black   Episode 115 Beyond the Walls Simple Pathways to Reaching Neighbors with the Gospel Does your church outreach look something like planning big events and hoping people show up? I’ve got some refreshing news: some of the most exciting ministry happening around the globe today starts with nothing more than a meal and good conversation.

That’s why I can’t wait for you to meet the Church of England’s co-director of vision and strategy, the Rev. Canon Dave Male. Dave is passionate about helping churches move beyond their walls to meet neighbors where they already gather—in homes, coffee shops, and community spaces.

For example, one pastor who Dave worked with was completely burned out from launching traditional church plants. But when he experimented with simply gathering people in homes around food and authentic conversation, something amazing happened. Within three years, their network grew to 30 groups with hundreds of people encountering Jesus in fresh ways.
