We invite youth from across Texas to a three-day summit
for…

  • Community-building with folks from diverse backgrounds and faith communities across Austin
  • Civics and advocacy training with Mark Strama and staff from the Annette Strauss Institute at UT Austin
  • Meet Ann Howard, Travis County Commissioner; John Howard, Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs, Dell Technologies; Brandon Simon, Regional Director for Senator Ted Cruz, Austin City Council Member Zo Qadri, and AISD Board President Arati Singh.
  • The opportunity to bring recommendations on bills directly to the legislators
  • who will decide whether they become laws.


We are committed to building community, promoting kindness and empathy, and encouraging listening and problem-solving. We are also committed to students’ safety, and we deeply appreciate adult chaperones from all communities attending.
