Life is filled with moments of joy and sorrow. Appreciating the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete nature of this life can be challenging. Each moment we find ourselves standing at the edge of the next moment.
How do we want to spend it?
How is my relationship to time bringing me alive or wearing me down?
At what speed am I living my life?
At what speed do I want to live my life?
In this Circle of Trust® retreat, we will explore these questions, along with what author, Caryl Casbon calls “deep time”. Through individual and small group reflective practices and creative expression, we’ll venture out onto the edges and thresholds of our life, to discover and befriend the paradoxes of standing at the edge of time.
Standing at the Edge is rooted in the Soul of Aging program. Soul of Aging is a small-group program based on the work of Dr. Parker J. Palmer and The Center for Courage and Renewal.
*Wint and Kirstin have designed a series of retreats inspired by Parker Palmer’s book, On the Brink of Everything and the Soul of Aging curriculum written by Caryl Casbon & Georgia Noble.
